Calling the Service Station

The machine has a feature called
Service Report Transmission. Use this
feature when your machine is having
problems. The machine will transmit
information about the condition of
your machine to your service repre-
sentative. A technician will then be
able to find out what the problem is
before making a visit. Service Report
Transmission is available when the
fax number of the service representa-
tive has been programmed.

Sending a Service Report

When you need to send a service re-
port, do the following.
A
Press the { { { { Function} } } } { { { { 6} } } } then enter
the access code { { { { 2} } } } { { { { 2} } } } { { { { 2} } } } { { { { 2} } } } .
Then press { { { { 7} } } } { { { { 3} } } } and the { { { { Yes} } } }

Press the { { { { Start} } } } key.

DIALING
Note
If the transmission was not suc-
cessful, the machine will not re-
dial. You must repeat the
operation. Program your ma-
chine's own telephone number
in order for your service repre-
sentative to identify the sender
of the service report. (see P.212
"Initial Settings & Adjustments".)
