Sending a Fax Using the External
Telephone
You can send a fax message using the
handset. (Optional handset or exter-
nal telephone is required.)
A
Set the document then pick up the
handset.
B
Dial the other party.
If you hear a voice

A Speak to the other party.
If you hear a high-pitched tone
instead of a voice
A Press the { { { { Start} } } } key.
C
When you are ready to send your
fax message, ask the other party to
press the { { { { Start} } } } key.
D
When you hear a high-pitched
tone, press the { { { { Start} } } } key.
E
Replace the handset.
