Use an isolating transformer
Use an isolating transformer with asymmetrically grounded or un-
grounded 100 – 480 V networks.
The system will be damaged or destroyed if you do not use an iso-
lating transformer under these circumstances.
EMC law in Europe
In Europe, the AX8000 multi-axis servo system may be operated
on an IT network only with an isolating transformer on account of
the electromagnetic emission.
The power supply modules are equipped with a wide-range voltage
input X01 and can be connected to the following voltage systems:
• Single-phase 100 V
AC
• Three-phase 200 V
AC
Standard supply network TT/TN
The connection to the standard supply network with grounded cen-
ter point is described below. Connections to other supply networks
like IT or two-wire networks without grounding, necessitate addi-
tional measures, such as isolating transformers.
