Step 4 Turn off the new circuit breaker, install a new circuit breaker using an extracting kit, and
close the handle.

Step 5 Reinstall the protective cover for the circuit breaker and turn on the circuit breaker. Check
that the load is operating properly.

8.4 Replacing an ATS

Before the replacement, ensure that the load services are not affected or obtain written consent
from the customer.
Procedure
Step 1 Switch off the upstream power distribution circuit breaker of the UPS cabinet, and use a
multimeter to check that the ATS input terminal is not energized.
Step 2 Switch off the output and input circuit breakers in the UPS cabinet.
Step 3 Remove the protective cover.
