1. Rem ove:
• fuel tank
• bottom cow ling
Refer to " FUEL TANK" and " COWL-
INGS" .
2. Rem ove:
• EXUP valve pulley cover 1
3. Check:
• EXUP system operation
a. Disconnect the EXUP servom otor
coupler 1.
b. Connect the battery to the EXUP ser-
vom otor coupler and check if the ser-
vom otor operates properly.
Battery positive lead → black/ yellow 2
Battery negative lead → black/ red 3
CAUTION:
ACHTUNG:
To avoid damaging the servomotor, do
not leave the battery connected to it for
more than a few seconds.
c. Check that the EXUP valve operates
properly.
d. Connect the EXUP servom otor cou-
pler.
4. M easure:
• EXUP cable free play a
M ax. EXUP cable free play
(at the EXUP valve pulley)
