REPLACING THE HEADLIGHT BULBS

REPLACING THE HEADLIGHT BULBS
The follow ing procedure applies to both of
the headlight bulbs.
1. Disconnect:
• headlight coupler 1
• headlight bulb holder cover 2
2. Detach:
• headlight bulb holder 1
3. Rem ove:
• headlight bulb 2
WARNING
WARNING
Since the headlight bulb gets extremely
hot, keep flammable products and your
hands aw ay from the bulb until it has
cooled dow n.
4. Install:
• headlight bulb
Secure the new headlight bulb w ith
the headlight bulb holder.
CAUTION:
ACHTUNG:
Avoid touching the glass part of the
headlight bulb to keep it free from oil,
otherw ise the transparency of the glass,
the life of the bulb and the luminous
flux w ill be adversely affected. If the
headlight bulb gets soiled, thoroughly
clean it w ith a cloth moistened w ith
alcohol or lacquer thinner.
5. Attach:
• headlight bulb holder
6. Install:
• headlight bulb holder cover
7. Connect:
• headlight coupler
