For GB and USA m odels only:
To change the speedom eter display from
kilom eters to m iles, press the " SELECT"
button for at least tw o seconds.

Odometer and trip meters

Use the trip m eters to estim ate how far you
can ride on a tank of fuel.
Use the fuel reserve trip m eter to see the
distance traveled from w hen the fuel level
dropped to the reserve level.
Push the " SELECT"
betw een the odom eter m ode " ODO" and
the trip odom eter m odes " TRIP 1" and
" TRIP 2" in the follow ing order:
" ODO" → " TRIP 1" → " TRIP 2" → " ODO"

Go ahead w ith riding.

Stop the m otorcycle
and allow it to idle until
the coolant tem perature
goes dow n.
If the tem perature does
not go dow n, stop the
engine. Refer to " OVER-
HEATING" in chapter 9.
Stop the engine and
allow it to cool. Refer to
" OVERHEATING"
