New
• valve 3
• valve spring 4
• upper spring seat 5
(into the cylinder head)
NOTE:
• M ake sure that each valve is installed
in its original place. Refer to the fol-
low ing em bossed m arks.
Right and left intake valve(-s): " 4XV:"
M iddle intake valve(-s): " 4XV."
Exhaust valve(-s): " 4XV"
• Install the valve spring w ith the larger
pitch a facing up.

NOTE:
Install the valve cotters by com pressing
the valve spring w ith the valve spring
com pressor 2 and attachm ent 3.

valve stem , lightly tap the valve tip w ith
a soft-face ham m er.
CAUTION:
ACHTUNG:
Hitting the valve tip w ith excessive
force could damage the valve.
