REM OVING THE FRONT WHEEL
1. Stand the m otorcycle on a level surface.
WARNING
WARNING
Securely support the motorcycle so that
there is no danger of it falling over.
NOTE:
Place the m otorcycle on a suitable stand
so that the front w heel is elevated.
2. Rem ove:
• left brake caliper
• right brake caliper
NOTE:
Do not squeeze the brake lever w hen
rem oving the brake calipers.
3. Elevate:
• front w heel
NOTE:
Place the m otorcycle on a suitable stand
so that the front w heel is elevated.

DISASSEM BLING THE FRONT WHEEL
1. Rem ove:
• oil seals
• w heel bearings
a. Clean the outside of the front w heel
hub.
b. Rem ove the oil seals 1 w ith a flat-
head screw driver.
NOTE:
To prevent dam aging the w heel, place a
rag 2 betw een the screw driver and the
w heel surface.
c. Rem ove the w heel bearings w ith a
general bearing puller.
