The library's functions can be controlled through the control panel. Manually operat-
ed I/O ports slide out from the front panel, and can be electronically locked. Bulk
loading can be accomplished by removing the right or left storage matrix. Figure 3-1
shows the various features of the front panel. The library may be configured to con-
tinue operation while either of the I/O port(s) is extended.

3.1 The Standby Power Switch

The standby power switch allows control of the library's power from the front panel.

3.2 The Key Locks

The storage matrices are secured with a key operated lock. The library will not be-
come active unless the key lock(s) is in the locked position. See Figure 3-2.
