• Camshaft sprocket timing mark "c"
Make sure the punch mark "c" on the cam-
shaft sprocket is aligned with the cylinder
head mating surface "d".
Out of alignment
Refer to the installation steps above.
TIP
Check the timing mark position of the camshaft
sprocket using a mirror.

• Valve clearance

10.Install:
• Timing mark accessing bolt "1"

11.Install:
• Timing chain guide (top side)

• Cylinder head cover gasket "1"
• Cylinder head cover gasket "2"
• Cylinder head cover
Cylinder head cover bolt
TIP
• Apply Three Bond No.1541C® onto the mating
surfaces of the cylinder head cover and cylin-
der head cover gasket.

• After installing the cylinder head cover gasket
"2" to the cylinder head cover, cut off the "a"
section.
