Connecting The Fiber Optic Cable To The Projector Through The Curved Strain Relief - Christie Mirage SST Installation And Setup Manual

The tethered safety cover must remain installed on the fiber connector whenever the fiber
optic cable is not connected to the projector.
When the fiber optic cable is connected to the projector, store the fiber connector dust cap
inside the tethered safety cover.

Attach the fiber optic cables from the laser illumination source to the projector using a curved strain
relief.
For additional information on the laser illumination source and the fiber optic cable, refer to the laser
illumination source's product documentation.
1. On the rear of the projector, loosen the captive screw securing the laser safety bracket.
2. Remove the fiber connector safety cover.
3. Remove the dust cover from the fiber input location.
4. To remove the top clamp from the bottom of the strain relief, remove the four screws.
5. Discard the dummy rod located inside the protective pad.
