2. Install the J33 jumper box (on page 26) on the laser illumination source.
3. To protect the fiber optic cable, install the fiber connector safety cover (on page 27) on the
fiber connector.
4. Connect the fiber optic cable from the laser illumination source to the projector head.
• Connect using the curved strain relief (on page 30).
• Connect using the straight strain relief (on page 32).
5. Connect the laser Ethernet cable (on page 34) from the laser illumination source to the
projector head.
6. Ensure a qualified electrician connects the AC power to the laser illumination source.
For electrical rating information, refer to the license label on the laser illumination source.

Installing the J33 jumper box on the laser illumination source

The J33 jumper box on the light illumination source is used for an external interlock e-stop and fire
alarm e-stop triggers. The Christie-approved J33 jumper box closes off the connector to the interlock
allowing Mirage SST to turn on.
1. Uninstall the existing J33 jumper box on the laser illumination source by removing the two
screws securing it and discard.
2. Install the Christie-approved J33 jumper box (P/N: 001-114198-XX) by tightening the two
screws.
