Connecting a single projector to a computer
Follow these steps to connect a single projector to a computer.
1. Connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the computer.
2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the projector.
3. To have the projector and the computer on the same network and subnet, configure the
network.
Connecting multiple projectors to a computer
Learn how to connect multiple projectors to a computer.
1. Connect Ethernet cables to the Ethernet port on each of the projectors.
2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cables to a network hub.
3. Connect an Ethernet cable between the network hub and the computer.
4. To have the projector and the computer on the same network and subnet, configure the
network.
Configuring the network
To have the projector and the computer on the same network and subnet, configure the network.
1. Open the Control Panel and select Network and Sharing Center.
2. Select Local Area Connection > Properties.
3. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > Properties.
4. On the General tab, select Use the following IP address.
5. Enter the IP address and Subnet mask for the network.
Make sure the network IP address does not conflict with any projector IP addresses.
The Subnet mask should be set to the same subnet as the projector.
6. Select OK.
7. To close the Local Area Connection Properties, select OK.
8. To close the Local Area Connection Status, select Close.
