4. Remove end cap from tilt rod.
5. Remove allen plug.
IMPORTANT: Remove plug from same side as holes in shaft.

6. Lubricate shaft with Quicksilver Power Trim and Steering Fluid. Insert shaft into
cylinder.
7. Tap shaft into cylinder until shaft is positioned as shown.
