Preparation (19" Casing Variants)
Requirements
– After installation, cables carefully reinserted into the
cable space
– The four accompanying screws
Warning: Touching the voltage carrying conductors
or the telephone connections or other non-insulated
components may cause a life-threatening electric
shock.
Make sure that the earth conductors are still
properly fastened and that no uninsulated cable or
connector is lying about loose in the casing.
Requirements
– Hand tools and material:
Screw driver
Connecting cable with at least 2.5 mm² conductor
cross-section
– Earth wire in the immediate vicinity of the mounting
location (potential compensation bar of the house
installation or protective earth conductor)
Warning. Umproper handling of the device can result
in life-threatening electrical shock.
Only a fixed installation is allowed for the connec-
tion of the earthing terminal of the PBX to the
potential compensation bar of the house installa-
tion or the protective earth conductor. Plug con-
nections are not allowed.
Steps to Take
Connect the earthing terminal on the main cirnuit
board of the PBX via the connecting cable to the po-
tential compensation bar of the house installation or
the protective earth conductor.

Steps to Take
1.
Place the upper cover panel in such a way that the
protective earth connection is located on the rear to
the right.
2.
Press the upper cover panel downwards until it snaps
in.
3.
If desired, secure the upper cover panel with the four
screws.
4.
Put the lateral cover panels back.
