If necessary, loosen the boom supports
and adjusted them to the center boom section
for better hole alignment. Torque the bolts and
nuts to 67 to 83 N-m (91 to 113 ft-lb).

3. Assemble the center boom assembly to the
spray skid frame with 4 bolts (1/2 x 1-1/4 inches)
and 4 locknuts (1/2 inch).
4. Torque the bolts and nuts to 67 to 83 N-m (91
to 113 ft-lb).

Procedure
Each boom section weighs approximately 30 lb.
1. Remove the 4 flanged-head bolts (3/8 x
1-1/4 inch), 4 backing plates, and 4 flanged
locknuts (3/8 inch) from the hinge bracket of the
center-boom section.
2. Rotate each pivot bracket at the end of the
center boom section so that the brackets align
vertically (Figure

3. Lift the outer-boom section and align holes in
the triangular mounting plate at the end of the
outer-boom section with the holes in the pivot
bracket.
