1) Loosen screw 1 to adjust so that a clearance of
2.5 mm or more is provided between the wiper and
the needle.
2) Loosen screw 2 to adjust so that a distance of 15
to 17 mm is provided between the end face of the

wiper and the center of the needle. After the
adjustment, securely tighten the screw.
(Caution) The position of the needle is where the
15 to 17 mm
Wiper spring 1 retains the needle thread after thread
trimming in between wiper 2 and the wiper spring.
Correct properly the tension of wiper spring 1 so that
the tension at that time becomes 0.2 to 0.3 N (a little
higher tension than that of the bobbin thread coming
out of the bobbin case).
(Caution) If the retaining of the needle thread is
