Reason
Residual image,streaks, drum scuffing can
occur i f blade is worn or contaminated.
Clogged filters can cause side-to-side light
copy quality defect and augers t o bind with
partially fused toner.
New corotrons can affect the charge voltage
(VO).
Contamination on the wires, damaged or
aged end blocks, are causes for corotron
failure resulting in copy quality defectsljams
etc.
Task Enabler
Clean blade with film remover and towel. apply zinc sterate
to blade. replace if damaged.

Vacuum auger area and seal
.
Ensure that seal is oriented toward the drum. replace seal if
damaged.

Ensure machine is at operating temperature and light leaks
are eliminated before performing the ADJ 9.2 Electrostatic
Series.
Perform ADJ 9.2 Electrostatic Series
