Cause
One of the interlock switches is open.
The fuser thermistor does not sense a
temperature change within 20 seconds, or
the fuser does not maintain the correct
temperature.
The toner concentration is too low.
The toner concentration i s too high.
There is a failure on the Control PWB.
The copy count meter is disconnected.
Copier is in itswarm up cycle.
Copier does not warm up.
Copier is in the power saver mode.
Copier is in the low power mode.
Clearance Procedure
Ensure that all of the interlock switches are closed.
Switch off the copier, then switch on the copier.
Do not install a new toner cartridge i f a new one already has
been installed.
Switch off the copier, then switch on the copier. Replace the
Control PWB (PL 1.4).
Reconnect the copy count meter.
Wait for fuser to warm up. Display should be counting
down from L9 to L O .
Switch off the copier, then switch on the copier.
Press the Start button.
Press the Start button.
