Note: It is required to install only 2 set screws. Three holes are provided in the locking ring to avoid clearance/acces-
sibility problems.
Note: Use enough loctite to coat the threads when the set screws are installed. DO NOT use an excessive amount of
Loctite that could seep into the interior of the collimator and cause damage to the collimator.
11. Using the GEMS torque wrench 46−282782P1, Sturtevant Richmond CAL−36/4, 2−36 in−lbs, and
the supplied hex socket wrench and adapter, set the torque wrench to 12 in−lbs (1.4 Nm) and tighten
the set screws until the torque wrench clicks. Refer to Illustration 6−3.
12. Store the spanner wrench on site for future service of the collimator.
13. Remove LOTO and apply system power.
14. Return XT suspension to operation.
15. Store the torque wrench, ensuring it is set to zero before storing.

Stop tightening when the torque wrench clicks.
DO NOT overtighten. If you overtighten, you may strip the set screw
threads or break the torque wrench.
