X−RAY TUBE & COLLIMATOR
INSTALLATION ON XT SUSPENSION
1. Place a protective pad on the foot end of the Table top.
2. Insert the metal rod (refer to Illustration 10) onto the Column to immobilize the Tube Arm
vertically.
3. Immobilize the RS 85 Column carriage so it cannot move longitudinally.
4. Rotate the Tube Assy 180° to "Tube Output Up" to remove the Collimator.
5. Remove the Collimator and set it aside on the pad. Cable disconnect should not be
necessary.
6. Remove MX100 Tube and replace it with the new tube.
7. Re−install the Collimator onto the X−ray Tube assy.
8. Remove the rod from the RS 85 Column to free the Tube Arm.
