If the collimator has no play:

1. Locate the wrench or extension tools provided with all collimators.
2. Check that it is not possible to slide the queue of one of these tools into the space between the ring
top surface and the bottom of the interface plate.
3. If the tool can be inserted, it means that the ring is not fully tighten. In this case, perform the steps in
2−8−5.

Checking Electrical Cables and Connections, and Cable Connection Points (every 12 months)
Verify the following:
electrical cables are not scratched
connectors are secure on their sockets
cable fasteners are secure

Reassembling the Parts
Note: Before mounting the covers, ensure all the ground cables are connected.
Reassemble the covers in the following order:
1. internal cover
2. main cover
3. front panel
Note: At the end of each operation of periodic maintenance, the complete "functional tests" procedure must be ap-
plied (refer to Chapter 4 of this manual).

ANY TIME YOU SCREW OR UNSCREW THE BLOCKING SCREWS
(DOWELS) YOU MUST APPLY LOCTITE THREADLOCKER TO ENSURE THE
GLUE EFFECTIVENESS INSIDE THE DOWELS THREADED HOLES.
FAILURE TO APPLY LOCTITE MAY RESULT IN THE SCREWS BACKING
OUT OVER TIME.
