iSCSI debug and dumps
On an IBM Power Systems 775 cluster, iSCSI devices (physical- or logical-based) are used
only to debug a system problem or to initiate a dump procedure.
On AIX, the iSCSI support is built into the operating system and must be configured to take
advantage of the operating system. For more information about how to configure this support,
see Table 3-1 on page 158.
For the Linux based cluster, you must configure the devices and ensure that the iSCSI
daemon is running, as shown in Example 3-54.
