Editing your instrument's protocols and file access permissions can

On the Task bar, click Start, point to Settings, and then click Network
and Dial-up Connections.

Then click Local Area ConnectionProperties.

On the General tab (for a local area connection) or the Networking tab
(all other connections), click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click
Properties. From here, you can make all desired changes.

When you have finished making changes, restart the instrument.
