Shield continuity must be provided along the communication line and must be grounded at a
single point using terminal 19 or 20 ( ).
Use a connector with metal body to provide cable shield continuity!

Cables connecting the RS485 PC line may use two different types of
connection:
• Connection of the conductors using the terminals of the
communication and control signal terminal block

For long distance connections, it is preferable to use a shielded twisted
pair cable with characteristic impedance of Z0=120 Ohm like the one
shown in the following table:

• Connection of conductors with RJ45 connectors
The two RJ45 connectors (A) and (B) available for RS485 PC communication,
are equivalent to each other and can be used interchangeably for the
arrival or for the output of the line when creating the daisy chain connection
of the inverters.
