5. Loosen the two finger-tight knurled screws that attach the rear cable and grounding
cable to the diverter valve assembly (→ Fig. 29).

6. Disconnect the diverter valve cable from the auxiliary I/O connection on the
AFC-3000 rear panel (→ Fig. 2).
7. Loosen the finger-tight knurled screw that attaches the rear cable to the mounting
block on the AFC-3000 rear panel (→ Fig. 30).
8. Reinstall the new diverter valve in reverse order. If you are replacing a low-flow
diverter valve, also see section 7.5 (→ page 66).
