The Secondary Cabinet is defined as the cabinet that connects to VRCs three (3), four (4) and the
Secondary ATM Switch. All secondary NICs (slot 8) are routed here.
Tertiary Cabinet
A Tertiary Cabinet can be either in an MPS 1000 system with VRCs five (5) through twelve (12) or a
cabinet in a non-ATM environment.
