System Shutdown

After Avaya personnel start your system for the first time, you rarely need to shut down or restart the
system. You can make most changes to the applications and multimedia files while the system is in
normal operation. However, you need to shut down the MPS to:
• upgrade hardware
• upgrade software
• relocate the system
Shut down the MPS
1. Start MPS Manager. Select the domain, then select the Application Manager as shown in the
following diagram.
The Application Manager appears.
2. Select Terminate box under the Action list to perform a soft termination by default. Click
Apply.
3. Wait for the Terminate/Un-Assign Lines Progress window to reach 100%.
