2. Configure the /etc/netmask files to provide a mask for the MPS 1000 Class B private
networks.
3. Configure the /opt/vps/common/etc/tms/sys.cfg file to specify the broadcast IP address from
the AP node to the MPS 1000 resource cards.
Modifying the hostname Files
Modify the /etc/hostname.xxxx files according to the following tables.
Table 5: AP has one four port Ethernet card
/etc/hostname.hme0

Modifying the Netmasks files
Edit the /etc/netmasks to provide a network mask for the MPS 1000 Class B private networks
10.7.0.0 and 10.8.0.0.
Note:
Future revisions of the MPS 1000 software package include this change and you do not need to
manually make the change.
Edit netmasks using the following procedure.
