NIC and TMS System Alarm Monitoring

System alarms help detect faults and isolate NIC and TMS hardware or software components. Any
fault detected that affects the call-processing ability of a module generates a system alarm. Alarms
are announced to the Alarm Viewer and the front panel LEDs on a VRC chassis. Alarms are stored
for retrieval can be viewed through MPS Manager.
