Tools required: #2 Phillips screwdriver 7/16 (11mm) socket wrench
1. Remove the four mounting screws from the front of the cabinet, and extend the PDU to allow
access to the power connections on the rear of the unit.
2. Remove retaining nuts and lock washers from the power terminals. Place the crimp
connector on the studs; replace nuts and lock washers, and tighten securely.
3. Place PDU back into the cabinet and replace the four retaining screws.
DC Terminal Block
The Terminal Block supplies separate power feeds to components in the MPS cabinet (for example,
SUN Netra 240, Passport switch, and so on) that contain their own redundant power supplies. For

on page 235 and
Caution:
The SUN Netra server has internal fuses within its power supplies. Do not attempt to replace the
fuses. The power supplies are not serviceable and must be replaced only as complete Field
Replaceable Units.

The optional assembly shown on
three block configurations depending on the number of feeds required. This block is intended to be
wired with #4 wire and a compression terminal such as AMP #52043-3 or equivalent.
