Sparc Based Processor

Lights Out Management (LOM)

The SPARC-based server can be managed through the Serial Port A/LOM serial connection. This
connection is normally provided with a cable connection to a Windows-based server running
HyperTerm. Configure this console to run at 9600 Baud, 8 bit no parity. See Sun Fire V215 and
Netra 240 Server Users Guide . The cable is supplied with each system along with an adapter (Sun
#530-2889-03) that terminates with a DB-25 male and requires the use of a DB-25 to DB-9 male
adapter.
