The monitor will run whenever this DTC is
not present
Slow slope condition:
There is a history that the following condi-
tions were met for 20 sec.:
1. Vehicle speed
2. Engine RPM
Idle
Vehicle speed
Fuel system status
Time after engine start
Frequency cruise condition:
Number of fail judgement is incremented
under the following conditions:
1. Number of cycle time data summation
2. Sum of cycle time data
3. Number of cycle time data summation
4. Sum of cycle time data
TYPICAL MALFUNCTION THRESHOLDS
Detection Criteria
Slow slope condition:
Time that output voltage of front heated oxygen sensor in-
crease. from 0.35 V to 0.5 V and that it decreases from 0.5
V to 0.35 V
Frequency cruise condition:
Oxygen sensor frequency is judged malfunction under the
following conditions:
1. Number of fail judgement
2. Neither pass nor fail determined yet
