position sensor.

Measure the resistance between the terminals of VC and VTA
of ECM connector and body ground.

Reconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
Disconnect the ECM connector.
Measure the resistance between terminals VC and E2 of
ECM connector.
Measure the resistance between terminals VTA and E2
of ECM connector.
Tester Connection
VC (E4−2) − E2 (E4−18)
VTA (E4−23) −
E2 (E4−18)
Resistance: 10 kΩ or higher
NG
Repair or replace harness or connector.
Disconnect the T1 throttle position sensor connector.
Measure the resistance between the terminals of the
throttle position sensor.
Tester Connection
VC (T1−1) − E2 (T1−2)
VTA (T1−3) − E2 (T1−2)
NG
Replace throttle position sensor.
