4 Check air filter.
PREPARATION:
Remove the air filter.
CHECK:
Visual check that the air filter is not excessively dirty or oily.
OK
5 Check idle speed.
PREPARATION:
(a) Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
(b) Switch off all accessories.
(c) Switch off air conditioning.
(d) Shift transmission into "N" position.
(e) Connect the OBD II scan tool or the hand−held tester to DLC3 on the vehicle.
CHECK:
Use CURRENT DATA to check the idle speed.
OK:
Idle speed: 650 to 750 rpm
OK
