Enabling or Disabling the DHCP
Client
To execute a DHCP request, type the following at the DOS
prompt:
C:\>dhcp
You can automatically execute a DHCP request when you start your
6400 computer by entering the dhcp command in AUTOEXEC.BAT.
The dhcp command must be located after ETHDRV.EXE.
To disable DHCP, reboot your 6400 computer or type the
following command at the DOS prompt:
C:\>dhcp –u

Enabling or Disabling the SNMP
Agent
To enable the SNMP agent, type the following at the DOS
prompt:
C:\>snmpd
You can automatically enable the SNMP agent when you start your
6400 computer by entering the snmpd command in
AUTOEXEC.BAT. The snmpd command must be located after
ETHDRV.EXE.
To disable the SNMP agent, reboot your 6400 computer.
