This message appears when the DHCP client sends a
broadcast request for configuration information to the
DHCP server and a reply is not received within the timeout
period.
It may be necessary to reconfigure either the initial
"
timeout period (through the dhcp -t option) or the
initial retry count (through the dhcp -r option) in
environments in which a DHCP (or Bootp) server
takes a long time to respond.
DHCP servers that send only broadcast frames
"
require access point flooding. If you are using this
type of DHCP server, you must set global flooding
options on the access point according to the following
charts.
