The probe's maximum input voltage and current values are derived
using the equations in this section. Exceeding these values may
result in the signal being clipped on the screen. To perform the
calculations, you need the probe's maximum output voltage (linear
operation) and the Gain, which are documented in
"Characteristics and Specifications"
