TSMA6
Power ON/OFF
The POWER ON/OFF button turns on and off the device if power is supplied via the
DC IN connector or docking connector.
Press and hold the button results in a coldstart of the R&S TSMA6.
Restore
With the RESTORE button, it is possible to bring the R&S TSMA6 back to factory
default or to a user backup (if created).
Loss of user data after RESTORE
Executing restore brings the R&S TSMA6 irreversible back to the condition of delivery
or any other later stored backup version.
All user data since last backup is lost.
DC IN Connector
The DC IN connector is used to supply the R&S TSMA6 with DC power. A wide DC
input range 11 V to 18 V / max. 7 A is supported.
USB-C
The USB-C port (multiport for Thunderbolt, Display and standard USB-C 3.1) can be
used for connecting external storage devices, tablets and test mobile phones.
USB 3.0 (4x)
The four USB 3.0 ports can be used for connecting external storage devices, data
sticks and test mobile phones.
Power limits: USB 3.0*: 1.5 A, all other USB 3.0 ports: 1 A
Total power for all USB ports (USB 3.0 and USB 2.0): max. 3 A
USB 2.0 (2x)
The two USB 2.0 ports can be used for connecting external devices as keyboard,
mouse or other devices.
Power limit: 500 mA per USB port
Total power for all USB ports (USB 3.0 and USB 2.0): max. 3 A
LAN Connector - Remote Control
The LAN connector provides a high-speed 1 Gbit Ethernet interface with an RJ 45 con-
nector. It is used to connect the R&S TSMA6 to a host PC.
