2.2 Before commencing work: Isolating the equipment from the supply
system and ensuring that it cannot be reconnected.
Hazardous voltage Will cause death or serious injury.
• Disconnect the system and all devices from the power supply before starting work.
• Secure against switching on again.
• Verify that the equipment is not live.
• Ground and short-circuit.
• Erect barriers around or cover adjacent live parts.
