6.3 Parameter settings in the soft starter under Fieldbus
OPC UA server
1. Navigate in the menu of the 3RW44 to the "Fieldbus interface > On" menu command (see
Activation of the fieldbus interface (Page 32))
2. Use the arrow keys to navigate to "OPC UA server".
3. Select "On" or "Off".
4. Save the settings (see Saving settings retentively (Page 33)) and restart the device.
OPC UA server control function
1. Navigate in the menu of the 3RW44 to the "Fieldbus interface > On" menu command (see

2. Use the arrow keys to navigate to "OPC UA server control function".
3. Select "On" or "Off".
4. Save the settings (see Saving settings retentively (Page 33)) and restart the device.
NTP time synchronization
1. Navigate in the menu of the 3RW44 to the "Fieldbus interface > On" menu command (see
Activation of the fieldbus interface (Page 32))
2. Use the arrow keys to navigate to "NTP time synchronization".
3. Select "On" or "Off".
4. Save the settings (see Saving settings retentively (Page 33)).
NTP server IP address
1. Navigate in the menu of the 3RW44 to the "Fieldbus interface > On" menu command (see
Activation of the fieldbus interface (Page 32))
2. Use the arrow keys to navigate to "NTP server IP address".
3. Press "OK" to assign an IP address.
4. You can use the arrow keys to assign digits.
5. Click "OK" to confirm each position of the IP address and to advance to the next position.
6. When you have entered the desired IP address, press the "OK" key again to accept the
entered address.
