Data transfer options
The following figure shows an overview of the communication functions supported by
SIRIUS 3RW44 soft starters, which are described in more detail in the following sections:
1 Communication between PLC (IO controller) and 3RW44 (IO device) via PROFINET / Ethernet
2 Communication between PC with Soft Starter ES 2007 + SP5 parameter assignment software (IO Supervisor) and
3RW44 via PROFINET
3 Communication between PC with Soft Starter ES 2007 + SP5 parameter assignment software and 3RW44 via
SIMATIC S7 (3RW44 integrated in STEP 7)
4 Communication between Soft Starter ES 2007 + SP5 PC parameter assignment software and 3RW44 via the local
device interface (point-to-point via RS232 or USB)
5 Communication between PC or HMI with OPC UA client and 3RW44 via Ethernet/OPC UA
6 Communication between PC with web browser and 3RW44 via TCP/IP and HTTP/HTTPS (web server)
