RF Pulse Mode

From the welcome screen select the "Accept" button to show the "Procedure Settings" screen
1. To access the Pulsed RF set up Menu, press the blue 'Pulse RF' box on the right hand side
of the display. Set Temperature, time, Pulse Rate, pulse width, and voltage required

Once all parameters are set press the 'Accept' Button. To progress to an active state.
Carry out the Stimulation and Motor sensory checks and log the results by selecting the
"Log" Button
To switch the unit to RF Pulse mode, press the

For Pulsed RF in manual mode, turn the RF Control clockwise to increase the output power. For
Automatic mode the RF Control needs to be fully anticlockwise and then press the 'Auto Start'
button.
Once 2.00 minutes has passed at the set temperature, the alarm will sound. The procedure is
now complete.
Note In pulsed RF Mode a thermal lesion is not produced and the temperature is does not have
to reach the set temperature (See notes on Pulsed RF)
