Port Configuration

802.1X Port Configuration
This function is used to configure the parameters for each port in 802.1X
port security application. Refer to the following parameters description for
details.
Port:
It is the port number to be selected for configuring its associated
802.1X parameters which are Port control, reAuthMax, txPeriod,
Quiet Period, reAuthEnabled, reAuthPeriod, max. Request, suppTime-
out, serverTimeout and Controlled direction.
Mode:
Range: Disable / Normal / Advanced / Clientless
Disable: Disable IEEE 802.1X for this port.
Normal: All clients under this port will be authorized when one of the
client do 802.1X authentication successfully.
Advanced: Each clients under this port have to do 802.1X authentica-
tion by himself.
Clientless: The clients don't need to install 802.1X client function, that
means the client PC (for example WINDOW XP) does not need to
enable 802.1X client function also can do 802.1X authentication. But
the network maintainer need to configure the Radius server using
each client's MAC address for Radius account ID and password.
