WARNING!
Disconnect power to processor board before removing or connecting the
print head assemblies or damage to components may occur.
1. Turn the power off and unplug the AC power cord.
2. Remove printer top cover (see section 5.28) and rear cover (see section
5.30).
3. Disengage appropriate print head cables (J1 to J6) from the main board (see
figures below). Pull out slightly the blue piece on main board connector with
fingernail and simply remove cable (uses zero insertion force).

4. Unclip the plastic holder (wire management device) and slide print head
cables out from underneath.
Old Style Print Head Cable - In addition, loosen (but do not remove) the
screws holding the metal bar for the grounding shield.
