Solvent Information
Observe recommendations on the use of solvents in chapter "Solvents".
Priming and Purging the System
When the solvents have been exchanged or the pumping system has been
turned off for a certain time (for example, overnight) oxygen will re-diffuse
into the solvent channel between the solvent reservoir, vacuum degasser
(when available in the system) and the pump. Volatile ingredients will
evaporate to some extend. Therefore priming of the pumping system is
required before starting an application.
