The cursors A and B are represented by vertical lines of different colors:
in a solid line if the cursor is selected.

Event description
The distance of the event from the beginning of
the fiber, in meters (or miles)
The attenuation due to the event, in dB
The reflectance of the event, in dB
The slope before the event, in dB/km (or dB/kft) if
it can be measured
The length of the section = the distance between
the marker of the event and the previous marker.
The total attenuation of the fiber (total loss), in dB
