The name of the Location A of the link may be entered here.
The name of the Location B of the link may be entered here.
Use the arrow
to enter the name of the operator carrying out the
measurement, using the edition keypad.
In contrast to the other data in this menu, the comment is specific to a
fiber. This line is thus used to enter a new comment and not to display it.
The comment appears at the top of the screen, with the other parameters
of the fiber (see
Figure 85 on page
This comment will remain available for the next acquisition, unless it is
deleted. It is also saved when a trace is saved with a comment.
This sub-menu appears when in the System Settings screen, in File
Export, the Send mail parameter is configured with Ethernet (see the
base manual of the T-BERD/MTS 4000)
To send a mail, you must have filled the 2 following fields:
Mail to
Subject
Saving traces
Three buttons are used to save one or more traces.
Store Trace: allows to save the current trace opened.
Store all Traces: allows to store all the traces displayed in
overlay (OTDR) in one single file.
