Place the spacer on the front idler-
wheel axle; then on each end of the
ax-

place
a
washer,
idler wheel
w/inserts,
washer,
and support. Place
the assembly into position and secure
the assembly with two cap-lock screws
and washers; then secure the supports
to the rai Is with four bolts and lock nuts.
Tighten securely.

Using a low-temperature grease, lubricate
the grease fittings.

Tip snowmobile onto one side using a
piece of cardboard to protect against scrat-
ching.
2.
Pull track away from the tunn el and install
skid frame. Slide inner
axles
through front
and rear arms of skid f rame.
3.
Move front of skid frame
into pos
ition with
front mounting hole in the tunnel. Slide
lock wash er onto
bolt;
th en
secure
front
arm to tunn el. Thread bolt in
o
nl
y
halfway.
DO NOT TIGHTEN.

NOTE: To aid in centering front arm with
holes in tunnel, position skid frame and
track at a
45
degree angle to bottom of tunnel.

Slide the skid frame and

the tun-
nel.

Tip the snowmobile onto the opposite side
and secure front arm to tunnel

6.
Place sleeves and springs on rear-arm axle
housing.
7.
Move rear arm into position with rear moun-
ting holes in tunnel. Slide lock washer onto
bolt; then secure rear arm to tunnel
.
Thread
in only halfway. DO NOT TIGHTEN.
NOTE: Rear arm of skid frame
may
not
align with mounting holes in tunnel. To
obtain proper alignment of rear arm, drive the
arm in the proper direction until alignment is
obtained.
8.
Again tip the snowmobile onto the op-
posite side and fasten rear arm to tunnel
using step
7.
9.
Tighten mounting bolts to
3.2 kg-m (23
ft-I b).
